This morning we had the privilege of listening to the passionate and inspiring Jamie Oliver at a Business Chicks breakfast. He spoke about the very important need for great food to be part of every child’s life. It does not need to be optional to have great food. Jamie should know with all that he is doing with the Ministry of Food charities and the incredible change it is having on families all over the world, including right here in Australia.

Today he shared about the current global obesity epidemic, with 42 million children under the age of five either overweight or obese across the world. The bottom line is the next generation will live shorter lives than their parents if nothing is done to rectify these alarming stats. His most recent project is the FOOD REVOLUTION DAY. The ideas is to introduce compulsory practical food education in schools across the world and Australia. He has already rallied the British Government and 6 other nations to make a change and now he is suggesting that we rally our government too to make sure our children have what they need to grow strong and healthy.

Check out his thinking and ideas regarding this food education program, its worth your time.

If you think he has a worthy idea then sign the petition too and share it with your friends.

It will be a great opportunity for a family selfie and to inspired change across the world.
